
Busan United Technology Holdings (CEO Park Hoon-ki) is recruiting participating companies for the 'B-Wave Accelerating' program until the 21st to discover and systematically foster startups in the marine and fisheries sector in the southeastern region.
This program is hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and organized by the Korea Institute of Ocean Science and Technology as part of the '2025 Marine and Fisheries Accelerator Operation Project'.
The recruitment target is startups and prospective entrepreneurs in the marine and fisheries field that have their headquarters or branches in the Southeastern region (Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam) within the past 7 years as of the announcement date ('25.04.04.). Nine prospective entrepreneurs and startups will be finally selected through a first written evaluation and a second presentation evaluation.
The selected startups will be provided with ▲education to strengthen business capabilities ▲customized mentoring for companies ▲IR capacity enhancement production to attract investment ▲opportunities to participate in investor networking and demo days. In addition, all selected companies will be provided with initial funds of up to 15 million won, and excellent companies will be provided with direct and follow-up investment and TIPS program linkage by Busan United Technology Holdings, and other follow-up support.
