Smile Information Technology, Dordoi Group, Salombekov University Hospital Sign Business Partnership Agreement

Multimodal data platform specialist MISO Information Technology (CEO Dong-wook Ahn) announced on the 7th that it has signed a business partnership with the Kyrgyz Republic's Dordoi Group and Salymbekov University, a leading medical education institution, to cooperate in digital transformation in the medical field and artificial intelligence (AI) technology development.

Smile Information Technology is expanding its healthcare business with a medical big data platform construction project based on medical data integration and clinical research solutions, and a personal health record (PHR) business based on MyData, with clients including university hospitals and general hospitals nationwide, such as Yonsei Medical Center, Konkuk University Hospital, and Chonnam National University Hospital. It is preparing for the first year of overseas expansion of healthcare technology and solutions according to the 'Smile Flyup 2025 Plus' business plan that was revealed at the media day in January.

This business partnership between the two companies will first focus on the healthcare sector. ▲ Digital transformation of hospitals (HIS, EMR, OCS, etc.) and health screening centers in the Kyrgyz Republic ▲ Digital healthcare solutions and artificial intelligence technology cooperation ▲ Local commercialization such as training skilled personnel in medical school-related fields will be focused on. Afterwards, it was agreed to continue discussions on digital transformation projects with affiliates within the Dordoi Group such as distribution, finance, and manufacturing.

Smile Information Technology will focus on promoting the development and commercialization of hospital information systems (HIS, EMR, OCS, etc.) for medical institutions in the Kyrgyz Republic and supporting the training of skilled personnel in medical schools and related fields. In addition, the construction of a health screening center that focuses on prevention rather than treatment is also under discussion with Smile Information Technology partners for the national health of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Salimbekov University President Amangeldi Zhumadilov said, “We expect this cooperation to advance the digital transformation of the Kyrgyz Republic’s healthcare system and the development of smart healthcare technologies,” adding, “We will do our best to improve the quality of healthcare services and foster talent through continued cooperation with SMIIT.”

Smile Information Technology is preparing for global healthcare business to represent K-software, and is also focusing on advancing solutions and platforms with medical AI specialized companies and medical foundations. In particular, it is collaborating on global business with major partners such as Deepnoid, which is challenging the world's first commercialization of AI-based interpretation text, KMI Korea Medical Research Institute, which has the largest health screening center in Korea, and Minds AI, a mental health healthcare company. It is expected that this collaboration will contribute to promoting the development of the digital healthcare industry in the Kyrgyz Republic and increasing the efficiency and accessibility of medical services.

Meanwhile, Smile Information Technology is also expanding its manufacturing business by developing AI autonomous process control solutions for non-medical companies such as Hyundai Steel and EcoPro based on generative AI. It is implementing an ontology system for data interpretation and better decision-making automation for manufacturing companies in automobiles, displays, and semiconductors, and is steadily preparing for new vertical AI businesses such as manufacturing, distribution, construction, and aerospace by analyzing specialized manufacturing data to operate industrial complex manufacturing companies as if they were a single organism.
