AETECH announced on the 3rd (local time) that 'AIRO-MRF' won the Bronze Award in the Manufacturing and Logistics – Production Process Innovation category at the '2025 Edison Awards'. This award signifies high recognition of AETECH's innovative resource circulation technology and sustainable waste treatment solutions.
'Airo-mrf' is one of Aettech's waste management solutions, a robot-based waste sorting automation system designed around the AI waste sorting robot 'Atron'. This smart factory improves the existing low recycling rate to 70%, more than doubles the resource circulation rate, and reduces landfill and incineration, contributing to reducing carbon footprints. In particular, 'Airo-mrf' has implemented a system that can produce high-purity PET flakes to supply recycled raw materials and further strengthen the resource circulation value chain.
Aettech evaluated that winning the Edison Award this time recognized the value of 'Iro-mrf' as a smart factory that leads innovation in the waste sorting process and supports sustainable development.
