Gyeonggi Content Korea Lab, established by Gyeonggi Province and Seongnam City and operated by Gyeonggi Content Promotion Agency (hereafter referred to as Gyeongconjin), announced on the 7th that it is recruiting participants for the '2025 Gyeonggi Regional Resource Utilization Content Production Support' project targeting creators with short-form video production capabilities. Recruitment will be held until April 16, and this project is a program that aims to discover creators and produce and spread content using local resources.
This project is to produce short-form content using stories, places, people, and cultural resources in Gyeonggi-do, and through this, participants can activate the Gyeonggi-do creative ecosystem and create a regional promotional effect. Participants are prospective entrepreneurs or Gyeonggi-do-based companies that have been established for less than 3 years (or companies that can relocate to Gyeonggi-do during the project period). A total of 15 teams will be selected and production costs will be supported from 8 million won to a maximum of 10 million won per team. Additional points will be given if the short-form drama genre is applied.
The support project includes support for addresses for starting a business in Gyeonggi-do, as well as exhibition and follow-up marketing support for promoting the results. Participants must produce at least eight videos of about 2 minutes or more or four videos of about 4 minutes or less based on local resources in Gyeonggi-do, and the results will be posted on the participant's channel to complete the task by October.
Applications for participation are available until 3:00 PM on April 16th through the official website of Gyeonggi Content Korea Lab. For more information, please refer to the business announcement on the website or contact the Gyeonggi Content Korea Lab department (031-776-4637, ksl@gcon.or.kr).
A representative of Kyeongconjin said, “This support project is a meaningful project that provides creators with practical creative opportunities and regions with a chance to be reexamined through content,” and added, “We will continue to further activate the creative ecosystem through various programs that discover regional resources and connect them with content.”
