ARTWA Co., Ltd., a company specializing in industrial robots, announced that it will change its name to 'THE Robotics' starting in April 2025.
This change of name is part of Artwa's corporate strategy to shift away from its existing 'ART'-centered brand image and focus on functionality and technology. The new name aims to establish a distinct identity as a specialized robotics company.
The name 'The Robotics' contains the philosophy of 'Tech for Humanity & Environment', which more clearly expresses the existing corporate vision of 'Eco-friendly and safe robots'. Through this change of company name, Artwa plans to focus on developing practical robot solutions centered on technology and grow into a company that leads sustainable and innovative robot technology in the global market beyond the domestic market.
Kang Dong-woo, CEO of Derrobotics, said, “This change of company name is not a simple change of name, but a turning point that will make the company’s direction and vision clearer.” He added, “We will continue to grow into a robotics company that provides real value to society through eco-friendly and people-centered technology development.”
