Gundoli, selected as an excellent company for the '2024 Early Startup Package'

' Gundoli ', an all-in-one platform for military life management, was selected as an excellent company in the '2024 Early Startup Package' supported by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and hosted by Gachon University.

Gundoli Co., Ltd., which operates 'Gundoli', has grown since its launch in 2018 by adding customized functions for soldiers, such as a discharge date calculator, vacation and meal plan management, a military community, consolation letters, and post office delivery service. As of now, the cumulative number of downloads has reached 2.85 million, and it has become a platform used by 9 out of 10 active-duty soldiers. The number of monthly active users (MAU) is 540,000, and the average number of daily users is 130,000.

This selection is the result of 'Gundoli' being recognized as a social infrastructure that digitally connects and supports experiences before, during, and after military service, and in particular, its will to change military life to be healthier and more meaningful was highly evaluated. 'Gundoli' is providing practical help to soldiers based on its vision of being the No. 1 lifestyle platform that connects the entire lives of men in their 20s.

Recently, 'Gundoli' is planning to launch 'Gundoli Snack', a snack box service exclusively for soldiers, through collaboration with 'Snackfor', a snack curation platform invested by Nongshim. This service is designed to allow soldiers to conveniently purchase customized snacks within the app, and is expected to substantially improve the level of welfare within the barracks.

Gundoli CEO Ji-Jun Woo stated, “This selection as an excellent company is an important milestone in that it means that Gundoli has gone beyond a simple utility app and has established itself as a military-specific platform officially recognized by the government.” He added, “Based on our mission to turn military service into an opportunity for a leap forward rather than a waste, we will establish ourselves as a credible brand that makes a real difference in the lives of soldiers.”
