Korea Software Industry Association and Korea Automobile Mobility Industry Association Sign Business Agreement

The Korea Software Industry Association (Chairman Cho Jun-hee, KOSA) announced on the 4th that it signed a 'MOU for promoting exchanges and strengthening cooperation between the mobility and software industries' with the Korea Automobile Mobility Industry Association (Chairman Kang Nam-hoon, KAMA) at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. The signing ceremony was held at the '2025 Seoul Mobility Show' that has been held at KINTEX since the 4th.

The main purpose of this MOU is to respond to the rapid changes in the industrial environment in which the domestic and international automobile industries are transforming into software-centered mobility companies, and to strengthen the global competitiveness of domestic companies through cooperation between the two industries. In particular, as software emerges as a key competitive edge in autonomous driving, connected cars, etc., the establishment of a cooperation system between industries is becoming more important.

The main contents of the agreement are ▲ policy discovery and suggestions to expand convergence between the mobility and software industries and support technological development ▲ mutual cooperation in related exhibitions and conferences to activate exchanges between the mobility and software industries ▲ activation of international cooperation projects to help the industries enter overseas markets ▲ sharing of statistics and data related to the mobility and software industries ▲ other projects deemed necessary for mutually beneficial exchanges and cooperation between the two organizations.

“This agreement will be an important opportunity to break down the barriers between the two core industries of software and mobility and create new innovations,” said Cho Jun-hee, Chairman of the Korea Software Industry Association (CEO of Yuracle). “Software is not a simple component, but the heart and brain of mobility. Through this collaboration, we will strive to create an ecosystem that will allow domestic companies to lead the future mobility market.”

Based on this agreement, the two associations plan to pursue specific cooperative projects such as joint technology seminars, human resource development programs, and support for overseas expansion.
