FANDING Co., Ltd., which operates FANDING, announced on the 4th that it recently attracted 5 billion won in Series A2 investment. Aventures and Intops Investment participated in this investment round.
Panding is a platform that provides global fandom business solutions to IP owners with solid fandoms in various fields such as virtual idols, tech creators, YouTubers, influencers, and musicians. Panding operates various fandom business products such as official fan communities, memberships, paid content, paid messages, lectures, goods, and offline events through its platform (fanding.kr) with over 1,600 teams of creators and IP owners, and is used by over 1.2 million global fans.
“Fandom business is rapidly emerging as a core business model in the global media and entertainment (M&E) market, but many IP owners are still struggling due to the lack of professional solutions and management,” said Se-Hyeon Eom, CEO of Pandom. “Demand for fandom business is increasing significantly, especially in the rapidly growing creator market.” He added, “Pandom will provide fans with a highly immersive fandom experience and help creators and IP owners maximize profits.”
“While influencers with large follower counts are having a hard time turning their popularity and influence into revenue, Panding is a special company in that it has designed the entire process to maximize creators’ revenue and created a structure where they can grow together,” said Taekyu Kim, Vice President of Aventures, which led this investment round. “Panding is an excellent platform that can transform the intangible influence of IP owners into tangible businesses through its excellent business planning and operation capabilities and AI-based IT solutions.”
