Gyeonggi Innovation Center, '30th Startup 815 IR Union' held

The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Won-kyung Kim, hereinafter referred to as the 'Gyeonggi Innovation Center') announced on the 27th that it co-hosted the '30th Startup 815 IR Union' with Dongguk University Technology Holdings and Chungbuk National University Technology Holdings at the Pangyo Startup Zone on the 26th.

Startup 815 IR is an investment attraction IR program held every Thursday at the Pangyo Startup Zone in Sujeong-gu, Seongnam-si. Hosted by Gyeonggi Innovation Center, the Pangyo Startup Zone operating agency, it discovers startups seeking investment and matches them with investors.

This investment attraction IR was organized to specialize in the eco-friendly energy and bio-health sectors, and promising startups recommended by the Gyeonggi Innovation Center and co-hosts Dongguk University Technology Holdings and Chungbuk National University Technology Holdings participated.

A total of 5 companies participated in IR, including ▲Ponatures (carbon reduction air purification system using microalgae that captures biological carbon), ▲ZeroOne (food waste circular economy solution through high-speed weight loss machine 'Dambi' with AIoT technology and AI-based consignment processing service 'Sseulmo'), ▲Mediaark (MOF-based nucleic acid carrier and immune cell differentiation photodynamic-immune fusion anticancer treatment), ▲Bodymap (personalized muscle diagnosis and treatment system with precision ultrasound technology), ▲LotusBio (sensor that provides quality change information with intelligent packaging technology (time-temperature history indicator & freshness indicator)).

In addition, ▲D.Camp, ▲Blue Point Partners, ▲Stick Ventures, ▲InterVest, ▲Platinum Technology Investment, ▲Korea Investment Accelerator, ▲D3 Jubilee Partners, ▲LX Ventures, and ▲Gyeonggi Innovation Center Investment Team, which have an understanding of and interest in eco-friendly energy and biohealth, participated in this IR and reviewed the startups’ technological prowess, marketability, and investment attraction potential from various angles.

An official from the Gyeonggi Innovation Center said, “This 30th 815 IR was a meaningful event that sought to connect technology-based startups with real investments, as it was centered around fields such as eco-friendly energy and biohealth, as well as sustainability and future healthcare,” adding, “We will continue to regularize the investment platform with the co-hosting organizations so that promising technology startups can reach a turning point for growth.”
