Classis Appoints Shin Kyung-ja, Google Asia Pacific Marketing Senior Director, as Outside Director

Global aesthetics company Classis Co., Ltd. announced on the 3rd that it has appointed Shin Kyung-ja, an outside director in charge of Google Asia Pacific (APAC) regional platform and device marketing.

On the 31st, Classis held its 10th regular shareholders' meeting at its headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul, and passed major agenda items, including the appointment of Shin Kyung-ja as an outside director.

As a Google Senior Director, Shin Kyung-ja is in charge of platform and device marketing in the Asia Pacific region, and is an expert with over 20 years of experience in global marketing and management strategy. Based on the philosophy that “successful platform business should be approached not only from a technical perspective but also from the perspective of designing an excellent user experience,” he has emphasized the importance of utilizing data-based customer insights and artificial intelligence (AI) marketing tools.

With the corporate value of 'customer-centered innovation' at its core, Classis provides various cosmetic medical devices and consumables that solve unmet market needs and customer inconveniences. Representative products include Shrink (overseas name Ultraformer) and Volnewmer (overseas name Volnewmer, Everesse). Recently, the company plans to promote software upgrades that incorporate AI and machine learning technologies with the goal of platformizing medical devices and generating continuous consumable sales. Accordingly, the company expects great synergy through the appointment of Shin Kyung-ja, an outside director with experience in platformizing devices and insight into marketing strategies and global growth strategies utilizing digital AI tools.
