Crosshub selects new album 'Little Penguin'

Crosshub, which is developing the next-generation 4th generation hybrid identity authentication service (ID Block) and the global cross-border simple payment service (Block Pay), announced on the 3rd that it has been selected for the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund's promising startup support program, 'Little Penguin', and secured 1 billion won in funding.

'Little Penguin' is a representative program of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund that discovers startups with high growth potential and supports them with funding and investment recommendations. It is well known for its strict screening and high competition rate. With this selection, Crosshub has gained recognition for its technological prowess and marketability, and has established an important foothold for entering the global market.

Crosshub will provide an environment where users can selectively disclose and safely control their information through the '4th generation hybrid identity authentication service' that enhances the existing DID (digital identity authentication) technology. Based on this, foreign tourists and global users will be able to use the 'IDBlock' and 'BlockPay' services that can easily and reliably authenticate their identity without complicated procedures and process payments in one stop.

Crosshub is targeting the global simple payment market, and is promoting linkages with local payment platforms, starting with major Asian countries such as Japan and Vietnam, and is also in the process of establishing overseas corporations. Through this, it plans to expand local partnerships and provide customized services, thereby further strengthening its competitiveness in the global market.

Crosshub Team Leader Park Soo-jung said, “It is very meaningful that our next-generation hybrid identity authentication technology and global expansion potential have been recognized through this ‘Little Penguin’ selection,” and added, “We will continue to grow into an identity authentication and payment platform that can become a global standard.”
