DH Autoware Participates in Performance Sharing Exhibition, Reveals Core Communication Technology for Autonomous Driving

DH Autoware announced on the 3rd that it will participate in the performance sharing exhibition with the autonomous driving core communication software technology developed through a national project. At this exhibition, DH Autoware plans to introduce the vehicle internal/external communication linkage technology, which is the core of future autonomous driving technology, and explore the possibility of commercialization in the future.

The technology developed by DH Autoware through a national project is an ultra-high-speed, lossless linkage technology between vehicle-to-everything (V2X) and in-vehicle networking (IVN) of autonomous vehicles. This technology integrates vehicle internal data and external environment data in real time to enable precise recognition of the driving environment, and by moving away from existing IVN-centered data processing and optimizing linkage with V2X, it can maximize algorithm accuracy.

The Performance Sharing Exhibition, hosted by the Autonomous Driving Technology Development Innovation Center and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and the National Police Agency, will be held at KINTEX in Ilsan from April 3 to 6. The purpose of the event is to share major achievements resulting from the completion of the Autonomous Driving Technology Development Innovation Project stage and to widely disseminate the core components and software technologies developed.

The exhibition will showcase the results of a total of 86 research and development projects, and various companies and research institutes, including DH Autoware, will participate and exhibit their R&D achievements. In addition, global excellent speakers will be invited to discuss global autonomous driving industry trends and policy directions, and excellent papers in related fields will be presented, allowing for extensive exchanges with domestic and international experts.

DH Autoware has been focusing on technology development aimed at optimizing linkage with V2X to overcome the limitations of autonomous driving data processing centered on IVN. The original technology acquired through this national project is evaluated as a key element for implementing advanced autonomous driving at level 4 or higher in the future.

A DH Autoware official said, “Global autonomous driving leaders such as Tesla, Waymo, and Hyundai Motors are actively investing in the development of V2X and IVN linkage optimization technology, so the marketability is expected to be high in the future,” adding, “As we have completed the development of core autonomous driving communication technology through a national project, we will actively seek commercialization through this exhibition.”
