Hexagon to participate in 'Hanover Messe 2025'

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence , a global leader in sensors, software and automation solutions, announced today that it will be exhibiting at Hannover Messe, the world’s largest industrial fair, taking place March 31-4 in Hannover, Germany, recreating a Formula One (F1) factory and unveiling the global performance of Nexus.

At the ‘Quality at Speed’ Formula One factory, visitors will have the opportunity to see first-hand the actual F1 car from Oracle Red Bull Racing, Hexagon’s Official Innovation Partner, along with the design and engineering software, measurement software and hardware, production software, and Nexus platform used to build the car. Nexus enables engineering teams to solve problems faster and more efficiently and optimize performance in fields that require high precision and rapid collaboration, such as F1 car production.

Nexus is a platform that integrates Hexagon’s technology with Microsoft’s latest cloud and AI technologies, and is designed to enable anyone to easily exchange data through strong interconnectivity with Hexagon and third-party platform data. It also connects to external programs in various ways, from simple file sharing to real-time data exchange using Microsoft’s Fluid Framework.

According to a milestone announcement made at Hannover Messe, since its launch in February 2023, Nexus has amassed more than 30,000 registered users. Additionally, 500,000 users across a wide range of industries worldwide use Hexagon’s technology every day as part of their technology stack. Nexus is rapidly expanding across the manufacturing value chain, connecting CAE tools, simulation and process data management (SPDM), and PDM/PLM systems that have traditionally operated separately from production systems, factory IoT, and quality data sources.

Hexagon has continued to expand its Nexus product portfolio, and at Hannover Messe this year, it will showcase a range of solutions that support every step of the workflow. Key portfolio offerings on display include Nexus Compute, which provides easy access to a range of high-performance simulations for companies of all sizes; Virtual Test Drive X (VTDx), a cloud-based solution for validating ADAS and autonomous vehicle systems; Metrology Reporting, which streamlines the quality reporting process; ProPlanAI, an AI-automated CAM programming tool; and Metrology Mentor, which supports measurement.

“As we increasingly recognize that a company’s successful digital transformation starts with its people and their goals, the value of Nexus in enabling efficient collaboration and improved productivity across the manufacturing process is increasingly apparent,” said Stephen Graham, vice president of Manufacturing Intelligence and general manager of Nexus at Hexagon. “As Hexagon further accelerates its development of workflow automation and AI, we expect to be able to further increase companies’ productivity.”

“Hyundai Motor Company is leveraging Hexagon’s proven CAE product line and Nexus to accelerate development cycles, optimize engineering performance, and drive a more agile, data-driven approach to vehicle development,” said Lee Jin-hwa, head of Hyundai Motor Company’s Vehicle SW Development Support Team. “Building a cloud-based vehicle development platform is a key strategic goal, and we are actively reviewing the innovative approaches and open integration capabilities that Nexus offers to achieve this.”
