
DeepBrain AI (CEO Jang Se-young) , a domestic generative artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced on the 3rd that it had been verified by an independent auditor for compliance with the European Union's (EU) personal information protection law, the 'General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)'.
The GDPR is a regulation that forces all companies or organizations that handle personal information of EU residents to comply with a wide range of privacy-related regulations, and is considered the most stringent personal information protection law in the world.
DeepBrain AI has obtained a compliance opinion through an external audit procedure for all items including core provisions such as Article 5 of the European Union General Data Protection Regulation, ‘Personal Information Processing Principles’. In addition to the existing ▲ISO/IEC 27001 joint certification established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and ▲SOC 2 (Service Organization Control 2) Type 2 certification developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), it has also obtained GDPR certification, establishing itself as a company with a global-level data protection system.
