
The Southern Regional Headquarters of Save the Children, an international children’s rights organization (Gyeongnam Children’s Rights Center Director Jeong Eun-hee) announced that it signed a business agreement with Changshin University (Student Employment and Entrepreneurship Office Director Hong Da-geom) to promote and realize children’s rights in the local community.
Through this agreement, Changshin University will actively participate in the 2025 International Children's Marathon hosted by Save the Children so that we can recognize that we are all one community as global citizens and fulfill our role as responsible members of the local community. In addition, we will actively continue various social contribution activities such as children's rights education and volunteer training.
Center Director Jeong Eun-hee said, “This agreement is not a simple signing, but an important moment that signals the beginning of real change to promote children’s rights in the community,” adding, “We will work with Changshin University to plan and implement various programs so that children can grow up in a better environment.”
Hong Da-geom, Dean of Student Employment and Entrepreneurship, said, “Through this agreement, Changshin University will take the lead in solving problems in the local community and actively participate in creating sustainable changes.” He added, “In particular, we will support students to participate in various volunteer activities for the local community and lead real changes through the Community Service Center operated by our university.”
With this agreement, Save the Children and Changshin University plan to plan joint projects to protect and promote children’s rights and continue to work with local communities to create a better community.
