
Human in Motion Robotics Asia, a robotics subsidiary of KOSDAQ-listed company Benot & R, announced on the 2nd that it signed a robot sales and strategic partnership with Singapore-based advanced healthcare company Robotimize on March 27 to expand its wearable robot business to the ASEAN region.
Human In Motion Robotics Asia is a joint venture (JV) established by Benot & R and Human In Motion Robotics, Benot & R’s Canadian robotics subsidiary, to develop wearable robot business in the Asia-Pacific region. Robotimize is a healthcare company headquartered in Singapore that supplies cutting-edge healthcare products to Malaysia, Indonesia, etc. It has a healthcare network in over 60 countries around the world and provides medical solutions based on cutting-edge rehabilitation robots and assistive technologies.
Through this agreement, the two companies will introduce humanoid wearable robot solutions to the rapidly growing ASEAN rehabilitation and healthcare markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, and enter the market. To this end, they plan to maximize synergy by combining their expertise in robotics and commercializing healthcare products.
