Audio Live 'Spoon' Announces 'DJ of the Month', Outstanding Creator for Q1 2025

– Veteran DJs ‘Grandma’, ‘Yuning’, and ‘Jonggu’ with 7 years of experience were selected after evaluating listener response, broadcast quality, and content diversity.

Spoon, an audio live content platform operated by global content platform company Spoon Labs (CEO Choi Hyuk-jae), announced on the 1st that it will be releasing the results of the first quarter of 'DJ of the Month', which introduces excellent creators every month.

Spoon is a global audio platform with a live function in the form of audio streaming that allows real-time communication between DJs and listeners, and a cast function in the form of a podcast. It is currently in service in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, and has recorded over 30 million cumulative downloads globally.
'DJ of the Month' is a project that regularly introduces creators with outstanding achievements to listeners to promote Spoon's diverse content and encourage the production of quality content. Starting this year, Spoon has been selecting a representative DJ every month by comprehensively evaluating listener response, broadcast quality, and content diversity.

This quarter, which focuses on individual DJs’ storytelling in particular, selected veteran DJs with over 7 years of broadcasting experience: ‘Grandma’ (January), ‘Yooning’ (February), and ‘Jonggu’ (March). The reasons for selection were variety entertainment with a warm concept and sincerity (Grandma), honest content that shares deep stories with listeners (Yooning), and original planning through collaboration with other DJs (Jonggu).

The three DJs who swept the major categories at the '2024 Spoon Awards' have been working hard to create content that moves hearts by communicating with listeners through various formats such as variety entertainment, radio-style communication broadcasts, and collaborations. They expressed their ambition to create broadcasts that go beyond entertainment and convey deep empathy and freshness to listeners.

Spoon supported the promotion of the three DJs of the month in the first quarter through applications and official SNS channels. Starting in May, we plan to strengthen our skinship with creators by reorganizing the criteria and methods of the DJ of the month to highlight more DJs and planning related events.
