Green Umbrella, Korea Youth Counseling and Welfare Development Institute Sign Business Agreement

Green Umbrella , a child welfare organization, announced on the 1st that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with the Korea Youth Counseling and Welfare Development Institute for 'discovering and supporting children and youth in blind spots.'

This agreement was created to jointly respond to various issues concerning children and adolescents in a rapidly changing social environment and to create a safe social foundation for future generations.

The two organizations plan to expand Green Umbrella’s key projects, such as ▲support for self-reliance of youth preparing for independence ▲support for children with immigrant backgrounds ▲linkage with corporate social contribution, to provide necessary services to more children and youth.

Green Umbrella plans to utilize the national network and infrastructure of the Korea Youth Counseling and Welfare Development Institute to identify beneficiaries and connect resources.

Green Umbrella expects that based on this agreement, it will be able to provide more close support to children and youth in blind spots.

Yoon Hyo-sik, the president of the Korea Youth Counseling and Welfare Development Institute, said, “As a public institution under the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the Korea Youth Counseling and Welfare Development Institute has been supporting the growth and welfare of youth in an integrated manner to create a world where youth are happy. We will actively cooperate with Green Umbrella to fulfill our mission and responsibility.”
