Stonebridge Ventures and Murex Partners announced that HireDiversity, the operator of the foreign residence administrative and convenience service platform 'HireVisa', has completed a Series A investment of a total of 5 billion won.
This investment was made 10 months after the seed investment in 2024, and through this, Higher Diversity’s cumulative investment amount reached 6 billion won. Stonebridge Ventures and Murex Partners participated in this investment round, and it is said that the two investment firms highly evaluated Higher Diversity’s differentiated service operation capabilities in the rapidly growing foreign service market.
“Currently, South Korea is experiencing a rapid decline in the working-age population due to low birth rates and an aging population, which could lead to a sharp decline in productivity and consumption power,” said Lee Jong-hyun, managing director of Stonebridge Ventures. “HigherDiversity has established itself as a platform that foreigners encounter even before they arrive in Korea, and it has a business model that is advantageous in providing various convenient lifestyle services necessary for foreigners to settle down in Korea, which is why we decided to invest.”
Murex Partners Managing Director Baek Hee-jung explained the reason for the investment, saying, “Despite the rapidly increasing demand for foreign students and workers in response to the issues of low birth rates and aging population in Korea, existing services have had difficulty meeting this demand. Higher Diversity plans to provide essential lifestyle convenience services that support foreigners’ settlement through its unrivaled technological capabilities.”
After attracting this investment, HireDiversity announced its future vision, saying, “We will do our best to solve problems arising in the foreign market in Korea and recruit excellent talent.”
