Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as Gyeongbuk Center) announced that it is recruiting participating companies for the '2025 Gyeongbuk Agricultural and Food Startup Investment IR' to support investment attraction and market entry of promising startups in the agricultural and food sector in 2025.
This IR event targets startups related to agriculture and food products within the Gyeongbuk region that have been in business for less than 7 years, and provides IR opportunities for professional investors, 1:1 investment consultations, and follow-up investment attraction programs to companies with technological prowess and growth potential.
The majority of agricultural and food start-ups have excellent product capabilities, but they are having difficulty securing sales channels and attracting investment. In response, the Gyeongbuk Center has created direct investment opportunities so that start-ups with innovative technologies and ideas can achieve real growth and expansion.
In particular, this IR event is expected to be attended by a large number of professional venture capitals (VCs), impact investment organizations, and CVCs (corporate venture capitals) of large agricultural and food-related companies, so it is expected to be a practical opportunity for startups that can lead to actual investments.
Among the companies applying, participating companies will be selected through document evaluation and will participate in an investment IR event scheduled for April 2025. After the event, there will be continued arrangements for meetings with investment organizations, follow-up attraction consulting, and connections with related organizations nationwide.
Lee Moon-rak, CEO of Gyeongbuk Creative Economy Innovation Center, said, “Through this event, we have provided an opportunity for competitive startups in the Gyeongbuk region in the agricultural and food sectors to advance to a bigger stage.” He added, “I hope that many promising startups with technological prowess and passion will show interest and participate.”
