
Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (hereinafter referred to as KLM) were selected as the '2024 Excellent Airlines' at the '9th Incheon Airport Awards' held by Incheon International Airport Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Incheon International Airport Corporation) on the 28th.
The 'Incheon Airport Awards' is an annual event hosted by Incheon International Airport Corporation that selects and awards excellent businesses that have contributed to improving the operation and service of Incheon International Airport.
At this awards ceremony, a total of 7 airlines were selected for their excellent performance through a comprehensive evaluation of 6 indicators: ▲Establishment of safety culture ▲Convenience of check-in ▲Operation predictability ▲Operation service ▲Smart service ▲Customer experience satisfaction.
Air France and KLM have been honored with the award for the 5th and 6th time respectively since the Incheon Airport Awards were first held in 2016. Air France received particularly high scores in the smart service category as a result of its response to changing market conditions and its leadership in improving customer experience. KLM was recognized for its multifaceted efforts to enhance customer convenience, with its outstanding check-in convenience.
Lee Kwang-woo, branch manager of Air France-KLM Incheon International Airport, said, “This is the result of the best efforts of both Air France and KLM executives and employees to provide safe and convenient air services,” and added, “We will continue to increase customer satisfaction by responding to the increasing air travel demand based on the best service and operational efficiency.”
Meanwhile, Air France will operate the Incheon-Paris route seven times a week, and KLM will increase the Incheon-Amsterdam route from five times a week to seven times a week starting in May.
