AI education specialist PeopleEdu (CEO Beomjun Kim) signed a three-party business agreement (MOU) with Yeongdeungpo-gu Office and Seoul Southern Office of Education to jointly operate an AI digital education program for multicultural children in the district. This agreement was promoted to improve AI digital literacy and foster Korean reading, writing, and speaking skills of multicultural elementary and middle school students in Yeongdeungpo-gu.
The educational curriculum is designed to help multicultural children develop the ability to read, write, and speak Korean in a fun way by utilizing PeopleEdu's self-developed 'Dream AI Studio', and to naturally cultivate capabilities such as AI utilization skills, digital literacy, and AI ethics by creating storybooks and video content containing their own dreams.
PeopleEdu is striving to eliminate blind spots in AI education by providing customized AI digital education to various groups such as slow learners, the 40-50 generation, and underprivileged youth based on a wide curriculum that covers everything from computer basics to AI ethics and utilization.
PeopleEdu CEO Kim Beom-jun said, “I am grateful to be starting AI education for multicultural children in Yeongdeungpo-gu, which has a high percentage of foreigners in Seoul, together with Yeongdeungpo-gu Office and Seoul Southern Office of Education,” and added, “We will continue to cooperate with more companies and organizations to eliminate AI digital blind spots in the future.”
Meanwhile, PeopleEdu is a Ministry of Health and Welfare-certified preliminary social enterprise with the mission of 'resolving educational inequality through equal AI digital education opportunities for all', and has recently been collaborating with various public institutions and companies such as LG (CEO Ha Beom-jong) and Seoul 50 Plus Foundation (CEO Kang Myeong) to jointly operate AI digital education programs to resolve educational inequality.
