
Spacebank , an AI DX specialist, announced that it has established its first local corporation in Indonesia and is entering the Southeast Asian market. The establishment of this corporation is a strategic move to expand various digital transformation (DX) businesses such as cloud, smart city, and security solutions based on the rapidly growing Indonesian IT service market with a population of approximately 700 million. Through this, the goal is to strengthen its position in the Southeast Asian market and expand global business cooperation.
According to global market research firm Gartner, the Indonesian IT service market is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 23% from approximately KRW 4.2 trillion in 2023 to approximately KRW 9.2 trillion in 2027. Based on this growth potential, Space Bank plans to actively target the digital transformation demand in Southeast Asia.
Spacebank Indonesia is announcing and promoting the establishment and operation of the Indonesian GDC (Global Development Center), and plans to provide innovative and highly productive software development along with digital transformation based on Spacebank's core technology competency, the low-code development platform. Through this, it plans to provide high-quality DX services tailored to regional characteristics and introduce innovative technologies such as cloud and smart city solutions to the local market. Through this, Spacebank plans to accelerate digital transformation in the public and private sectors and propose customized solutions in various fields such as smart factories and facility control.
