– Actively investing in the advancement of business legal AI solution 'Allybee' technology and expansion of global markets

-Starting with Japan within the year, we will begin full-scale global service and begin targeting overseas markets.

BHSN (BHSN, CEO Jeong-geun Lim), which operates the business legal AI solution 'allibee', announced on the 27th that it has attracted 10 billion won in Series B investment.

In this investment, existing investor Altos Ventures made a follow-up investment, and Korea Development Bank and Woori Financial Capital participated as new investors. This brings BHSN’s cumulative investment amount to 16 billion won.

Founded in 2020, BHSN develops and provides business legal AI solution allibee, which is equipped with its own legal-specific large-scale language model (Legal-LLM), Augmented Amplification Generation (RAG), and patented legal document digitization technology, 'Legal OCR (Optical Character Recognition)'.

Allybee is provided as a service with ▲'Contract Management Solution (CLM)', an integrated contract management system, ▲'Corporate Legal Solution (ELM)', which integrates legal advice and litigation, and ▲'Business Agent Solution', which performs legal and business research, and is provided as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) or on-premise.

In particular, Allybee is the only company in Korea that has developed its own AI contract engine specialized for law and applied it to its services, allowing it to closely analyze and review complex and difficult legal documents such as contracts and legal advice in a matter of seconds. It also implements an AI search engine specialized for searching government policy data and internal corporate reports.

Through this, Allybee is useful in fields that require specialized knowledge such as legal affairs and compliance by enabling confirmation of judgment grounds necessary for corporate decision-making and identification of risks in advance. It also increases efficiency in related tasks such as management, personnel, business development, and sales.

Currently, Allybee is being introduced and used by various major domestic companies in various fields, including CJ CheilJedang, Hanwha Solutions, and Aekyung Chemical, and is in the process of signing new contracts with pharmaceutical and distribution companies, aiming to launch the service within the year.

With this investment, BHSN plans to enhance its own legal AI technology and expand its marketing activities to strengthen Allybee’s technological prowess and branding. In addition, it plans to focus on its global business targeting the Asian market, centered around Japan, where BHSN’s overseas corporations are located, while expanding collaboration with governments and public institutions as Allybee’s business agent, which is optimized for searching laws and precedents.

An official from Altos Ventures said, “BHSN is providing solutions that improve corporate work efficiency and productivity based on its outstanding legal expertise,” adding, “It has already secured major domestic clients and will make a full-scale entry into the Japanese market, which has a similar legal system, starting in the second half of the year. We highly evaluated its potential for global expansion and decided to make a follow-up investment.”

BHSN CEO Lim Jeong-geun said, “With the trend of the AX (AI transformation) era, there are changes in the form and direction of corporate work, and interest in the business legal AI solution ‘Allybee’ is also increasing.” He added, “With this investment, the effectiveness of the Allybee service has been recognized, and we will lay the foundation to increase global competitiveness with differentiated technology and services.”
