Seoul National University Technology Holdings to Invest Seed in 'Aimunlink'

Aimunlink, which is developing 'precision analysis and measurement of immunity' technology, announced on the 27th that it has attracted seed investment from Seoul National University Technology Holdings. The investment amount is undisclosed.

Aimunlink is a precision customized immune specialist company that provides data-based immunity analysis and measurement services to pharmaceutical and vaccine companies and medical institutions. It prepared for startup through the 2024 preliminary startup package project and was recognized for its technological prowess and commercialization potential, winning the grand prize at the SNU-SH Demo Day (hosted by Seoul National University Siheung Campus) and Seoul Hongneung Gangso Special Zone Innopolis GRaND-K (entrepreneurship school) startup competition.

Aimunlink CEO Hwang Sang-jun said, “Immunity is very important in everyday life in relation to diseases and aging. Aimunlink aims to develop and commercialize immune analysis and measurement tests that are useful not only in everyday life but also in medical development. I would like to thank Seoul National University Technology Holdings for deciding to make a meaningful investment to realize this vision.”

Through this investment, Aimunlink plans to accelerate the development and commercialization of immune testing technology and continue to pursue personalized immune precision medicine based on Immune Digital Twins by expanding immune big data and enhancing machine learning.

“Compared to the importance that is being emphasized, accurate immunity testing services are lacking,” said Mok Seung-hwan, CEO of Seoul National University Technology Holdings. “We hope that AimmuneLink will solve the unmet needs of the market based on its technological expertise and commercialization experience, and further grow into a global company.”

This investment is in accordance with the preliminary startup package agreement between Seoul National University Technology Holdings and Seoul National University Siheung Campus. Seoul National University Technology Holdings plans to further develop this agreement to actively discover and support promising technology-based startups such as AimmuneLink and further strengthen cooperation to activate the national advanced bio cluster centered around Seoul National University Siheung Campus.
