Moin, Participation in 'International Public-Private Expert Forum'

Moin Co., Ltd. will attend the Private Sector Consultative Forum (PSCF), hosted by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), to be held in Mumbai, India from March 25 to 27. This forum is a place to discuss global cooperation to strengthen anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CFT), and financial regulatory agencies and private sector representatives from around the world will gather to share the latest financial crime trends and response strategies.

At this forum, the FATF will listen to industry experts’ opinions on improving international standards and discuss policy improvements to enhance transparency in the payment market. In particular, it is expected that the scope of obligations for each participant will be clarified and effective risk management measures will be focused on to enhance transparency in payment.

This forum invited industry experts recommended by financial authorities of each country, and Moin was invited as a representative company of the Korean payment industry. Domestic companies invited together include Standard Chartered Bank Korea, Hana Bank, and Kakao Pay, and Director Park Soo-young will attend Moin and participate in global discussions to strengthen the transparency of overseas remittance and payment settlement.

Moin’s participation in this forum is significant in that it has been recognized internationally for its anti-money laundering and financial regulatory compliance capabilities. As a fintech company providing overseas remittance services, Moin strictly complies with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) processes, and is continuously upgrading its anti-money laundering system to meet global regulatory standards.

Through this forum, Moin plans to understand the global AML/CFT regulatory trends and further strengthen its own compliance system.
