Hanwha Semitec participates in 'International Dental Show 2025'

Hanwha Semiconductor announced on the 27th that it participated in the 'International Dental Show 2025' (IDS2025), an international dental equipment exhibition held in Cologne, Germany from the 25th to the 29th (local time).

The IDS exhibition is the world's largest dental medical equipment exhibition held every two years, and this year, approximately 2,000 companies from 60 countries are participating.

At this exhibition, Hanwha Semitec attracted the attention of visitors by exhibiting the automatic lathe 'XM20' capable of producing artificial roots and the 'H-Denfit' capable of producing artificial teeth. It is evaluated that the company has completed the 'Full Implant Lineup' capable of producing both the upper and lower structures that function as roots and teeth among implant structures.

H-Denfit adopts a compact size and streamlined design, and uses a touch panel operation method to make implant teeth easy to manufacture. As dental milling machines like H-Denfit become more popular, the cost burden of implants is expected to decrease even further.

Parts produced by medical parts machine tools must meet high quality and safety standards, such as smooth surface treatment and long tool life, as they come into direct contact with the human body. The need for domestic production has been continuously raised due to the high dependence on equipment from Japanese companies that have long focused on precision processing technology.

A Hanwha Semiconductor official said, “Hanwha Semiconductor’s machine tools are already highly trusted in the market in terms of precision and quality, and we will solidify our position in the dental medical equipment market based on our technological prowess.”
