AllMyTour.com, a membership-based global accommodation cost reservation platform, announced that it will be launching a Korean travel bundling package product in collaboration with Japanese outbound travel agency Hankyu Transportation.
Hankyu Kotsu is one of the three major travel agencies in Japan and is a subsidiary of Hankyu Hanshin Holdings Group, established in 1948. Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to provide a bundled package product that combines Hankyu Kotsu’s airline tickets with domestic premium accommodations owned by AllMyTour.com, including various options such as airtel, shuttle service, and activities.
According to the Korea Tourism Organization, the number of Japanese tourists visiting Korea last year was approximately 3.22 million, which is the second largest number of foreign tourists after China. However, the proportion of accommodation reservations made by domestic OTAs (online travel agencies) in the Korean market is still low. Accordingly, many local Japanese travel agencies are analyzing that they are relying on overseas OTAs for Korean tour package accommodation products.
To solve these problems, Allmytour.com announced its plan to lead the digital transformation (DX) of the Korea-Japan travel market by utilizing its differentiated hotel network and API linking technology. In addition, it plans to improve Hankyu Transportation's manual reservation system through the 'Global B2B Cloud Channeling Solution' and increase reservation efficiency and convenience.
This collaboration is also expected to be an opportunity for AllMyTour.com to increase brand awareness in Japan and expand collaboration with local OTAs and travel agencies. AllMyTour.com plans to continuously expand overseas channels with more than 120 B2B partners, including those in Greater China and Southeast Asia, to leap forward as the No. 1 B2B bedbank in Northeast Asia.
Jeong Hyeon-il, co-CEO of AllMyTour.com, said, “This collaboration is expected to provide Hankyu Transportation, Japan’s largest outbound travel agency, with accommodation reservation solutions through digital transformation and increase the accessibility of Korean travel products,” adding, “We plan to use this as an opportunity to lead the digital transformation of the travel market between Korea and Japan and actively pursue cooperation with Japanese OTAs and travel agencies in the future.”
