-Mash supplied to 4 out of 5 SPAO stores nationwide
– Helps segment customers and adjust product composition by store using visitor movement and behavior data
– SPAO, establishing customized sales strategies that reflect regional and commercial district characteristics

Image processing artificial intelligence startup MayI (CEO Park Jun-hyeok) announced that it signed a supply contract with E-Land World for its visitor data analysis solution ‘mAsh’ and will provide the service to over 80% of the nationwide stores of the manufacturing and distribution integrated (SPA) brand ‘SPAO’.
With this contract, Mayai will supply mesh to 101 SPAO stores nationwide, measuring the number of visitors by day of the week and time period with 98% accuracy based on the movement and behavioral patterns of visitors, and supporting the optimization of store operation strategies according to region and commercial district.
SPAO has been at the forefront of data-based store operations, such as being the first in the domestic fashion industry to introduce radio frequency identification (RFID) chips to understand customer purchase journeys. With the introduction of Mesh, the company plans to focus on increasing sales by analyzing visitor behavior patterns, measuring customer age groups more precisely, optimizing product composition and store layout, and strengthening data-based customized sales strategies.
Mayai has proven its performance by conducting a technical verification (PoC) at one SPAO store prior to supplying the mesh, and has currently applied it to more than 80% of SPAO stores nationwide. The number of stores introducing it is gradually increasing, with the goal of applying it to more than 90% of stores nationwide this year.
A representative from Spao’s big data team said, “Mesh has enabled more sophisticated data analysis, laying the foundation for quickly reflecting market trends,” adding, “We plan to actively utilize Mesh in the future to maximize offline customer experience.”
Kim Chan-gyu, CPO of Mayai, said, “We are supplying mesh to the global SPA brand SPAO and improving store operation efficiency,” and “We will continue to provide technical support so that we can accelerate SPAO’s data-based operational innovation and make a real contribution to increasing sales.”
Meanwhile, Mesh is an image processing AI solution that analyzes visitor data through CCTV installed in offline spaces, provides key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights according to the industry and type of store, and helps with efficient operation. In particular, the self-developed re-identification technology applied to Mesh recorded an accuracy of 92% in internal tests, surpassing the latest academic model (ISR, 66%).
