Korea Tourism Organization, Recruiting Tourism Companies to Participate in 'Data Marketing Consulting Support Project'

Korea Tourism Organization (Acting President Seo Young-chung, hereinafter referred to as the Organization) is recruiting tourism companies to participate in the 'Data Marketing Consulting Support Project' from the 26th to April 15th.

The project, which began in 2023, aims to support the efficient growth of tourism companies by establishing data-based marketing strategies. This year, a total of 27 companies will be selected in three categories: ▲Establishment of a data analysis environment ▲Marketing automation ▲Growth hacking.

The selected companies will receive customized consulting from professional consultants for 4 months, and will also be provided with practical solutions to resolve the company's major issues. In particular, companies selected in the marketing automation and growth hacking sectors will be provided with a minimum of 4 million won and a maximum of 10 million won as marketing support funds necessary for business operations.

Any tourism company that needs to establish a data-based marketing strategy and grow can participate, and detailed information about the application can be found on the Korea Tourism Industry Portal Touraz (touraz.kr). The final selection results will be announced in early May.

“All companies that participated last year recorded an average growth of more than seven times, proving the real effect of increased sales,” said Im Sook-mi, team leader of the Tourism Data Strategy Team of the Korea Tourism Organization. “Data utilization is no longer an option for tourism business growth, but rather a necessity. The Corporation will continue to actively support tourism businesses to strengthen their market competitiveness and achieve sustainable growth.”
