'Smart', an AI-based SaaS solution company targeting VCs, LPs, and startups, announced that it will hold a product showcase at Parnas Tower in Samseong-dong from April 2nd to 4th.
Smart is a subsidiary of DSC Investment, and is developing a B2B 'SaaS ERP (resource management solution)' for startup ecosystem members. The solution aims to create an investment ecosystem that connects VCs, startups, and LPs. The solution incorporates 14 years of investment asset management know-how accumulated by DSC Investment, which has over 1 trillion won in assets under management, and its subsidiary, Accelerator Schmidt.
Smart is currently providing ▲ 'VCworks', an ERP that can manage all aspects of work, including funds and investment assets, personnel, and accounting, for VCs and asset management companies; ▲ 'STworks', which provides various functions necessary for communication with shareholders and early-stage companies for startups; and ▲ 'LPworks', which supports fund management for private investors.
Each product is designed to link data so that each stakeholder in the investment ecosystem can increase work efficiency. It minimizes simple repetitive tasks that require the same information to be manually entered multiple times, and provides an environment where people can focus on investment review and decision-making.
In the startup industry, voices have been raised consistently for a system that can connect investors, funders, and startups, as well as startup statistics. Although the interests of VCs, LPs, and startups are different, the ultimate goal of successful growth and value-up of the company and the growth of the startup scene is the same. Since mutually trustworthy data sharing and information management channels are essential for the mutual growth and cooperation of the three parties, BlackRock, the world's largest asset management company, established eFront, an ERP SaaS solution developer, in 2019, and acquired Prequin, an alternative investment data provider, in 2024. On the other hand, there is still no ERP solution in Korea that can integrate and manage data.
This showcase will showcase the core features of our smart solutions.
Key features include the 'One-Stop Investment Recovery Process' that efficiently manages the process from investment to post-management and recovery, and the 'All-in-One Sales Reporting System' that automatically compiles corporate reports and updates data. In addition, the 'Decision Fast Track' that electronicizes the decision-making process with portfolio companies, along with data-based investment review history, free inquiry of LP investment history, and flexible data processing functions are introduced.
We also plan to introduce functions specialized for VC work, such as 'ChatVC', which allows easy access to investment information, data inquiry via mobile, automatic vouchers, multi-ledger support, valuation, and IRR calculation.
The showcase will be held at the PB Center conference room on the 6th floor of Parnas Tower at 2 PM every day from the 2nd to the 4th. The 2nd and 3rd will be for fund management companies with anchor investment, and the 4th will be for management companies with main account investment or private funds. You can participate on only one of the three dates.
Participation in the showcase requires prior application, and companies wishing to participate can apply in advance by visiting the Smart website or through a separate application page.
