– First mobile employee management app optimized for SOHO stores, including small business owners
– Contributes to resource reduction, digital transformation, and enhanced compliance
– “ Becoming an essential item for all workers” A step forward toward Flex’s mission

'Flex', which provides an all-in-one HR platform for businesses, announced on the 25th that it has launched the beta service of 'Flex Mini', an employee management application for stores.
Flex mini is a mobile app optimized for small businesses based on stores. It targets SOHO (Small Office Home Office) workers in restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, hair shops, and other food service businesses, wholesale and retail businesses, and service businesses. While the existing flex, a service for businesses, supports PCs and mobile devices optimized for office work, flex mini has all the functions on mobile devices to fit the store environment.
Its core functions include ▲employee personnel information management, ▲work schedule management, ▲GPS-based work attendance records, ▲real-time work status confirmation, ▲automatic salary calculation, etc. Since employee management in small-scale stores often relies on inaccurate and inefficient manual records, you can expect a dramatic reduction in time and resources when utilizing flex mini.
It is also useful for preventing labor risks. Domestic labor standards laws and tax laws are complicatedly structured based on contract types (regular, contract, daily, freelance), working hours (regular, short, ultra-short), pay cycles (monthly, hourly), employment scale, etc. Flex mini guides you to legally sign labor contracts in accordance with the latest laws and systems, and automatically calculates pay based on this personnel information and accurate attendance records based on GPS.
This service is also socially significant in that it encourages digital transformation of small business owners and the self-employed and strengthens compliance.
Flex mini can be downloaded from various app stores, and since it is a beta version, anyone can use it for free. Flex plans to quickly improve its service by reflecting user feedback during the beta period, and to add key functions of existing Flex, such as electronic labor contracts, and to launch an official service in the second half of the year.
“Korea has a high rate of self-employment among OECD member countries, and the ‘gig economy’ that prefers N-jobbers is also spreading,” said Jang Hae-nam, CEO of Flex. “Many employers and workers are in the blind spot of the automated and efficient human resource management system.” He continued, “Through flex mini, which encompasses various employment types and work environments, we will get one step closer to Flex’s mission of ‘becoming an essential resource for 22 million workers in Korea. ’”
Flex was founded in 2019 with the mission of “solving various problems experienced by organizations and their members and becoming an essential resource for all workers,” and has grown into Korea’s only SaaS-type all-in-one HR platform. Late last year, it expanded its service area horizontally by launching “cost management,” which falls under the financial sector, beyond HR, and plans to expand its service target vertically through this Flex mini.
