MPAG (CEO Jeong In-seo) announced on the 25th that it will participate as a speaker in the 'WIPO Music Copyright Mentorship Program' jointly hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), and the Korea Copyright Commission.
This invitation mentorship program will be held for three days from March 24th to 26th. It is designed to increase understanding of copyright in the music industry and create a healthy music ecosystem, and to provide useful information and insights to those in the music industry at home and abroad.
MPI operates the global digital sheet music trading platforms 'MyMusicSheet (Global)', 'Kokoro and Musician (Japan)', and 'Maeummaneun Pianist (Korea)'. These platforms support music creators, composers, and musicians to participate in the production of sheet music in various genres, and sell them to instrument learners and hobbyists around the world, providing new revenue-generating opportunities for creators.
On the second day of the program today (the 25th), MPIAGE CEO Jeong In-seo will present on ‘How platforms can collaborate and grow with music creators and startups: Challenges and Opportunities’ in a session titled ‘How online and offline platforms can collaborate and grow with music creators and startups.’
In addition, we will introduce the music score platform currently operated by MPAGE and share the company's leading activities for the digitalization of music scores and the establishment of a proper usage culture in the digital music score market. In particular, we plan to focus on conveying the differentiated strategies and achievements that MPAGE has pursued to build a win-win ecosystem between artists and buyers.
The main contents include various activities of MPA to grow together with artists, such as ▲disclosure of platform data ▲artist-friendly settlement policy ▲marketing support through various plans ▲sharing of company know-how through seminars.
