ITOXI announced that it participated in the Ukraine Reconstruction Alliance (URA), a federation of listed companies from around 10 industrial sectors, held an inaugural event on the 25th, signed an MOU with the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI), and had a meeting with the Ukrainian economic delegation currently visiting Korea.
Key figures attending the inauguration ceremony on this day included Ukrainian Ambassador to Korea Dmytro Ponomarenko, UCCI Vice President Valery Korol, and UUCI Korea Economic Cooperation Committee Chairman Roman Grigoryshyn.
The Ukraine Reconstruction Project Listed Companies Council will be headed by CEO Jeon Bong-gyu of iTox, who has a network in the Commonwealth of Independent States including Ukraine, and former Ukrainian Ambassador Lee Yang-gu and former Kazakhstan Ambassador Baek Ju-hyun will be appointed as advisors. The council plans to bring together listed companies in each sector that are promoting reconstruction projects to share reconstruction project information and local networks and join forces to participate in the Ukrainian reconstruction support project worth 2.3 billion dollars (approximately 3.37 trillion won) promised by the Korean government.
Aitoxi recently won the contract to export Musso Grand from KG Mobility in the Ukrainian National Police Agency’s pickup truck bid, becoming the first listed company in Korea to produce results in the Ukraine reconstruction project. Hwacheon Machine Tool, Emgen Solution in the information and communication infrastructure sector, Foodnamu, an F&B specialist, Jogwang Paint, Jeonjin Construction Robot, a construction equipment and firefighting specialist, and Paratech in the firefighting sector also participated.

Roman Grigoryshin, Chairman of the Ukraine-Korea Economic Cooperation Committee of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UUCI), said, “UUCI has around 19,000 member companies across the country, and around 150 large local companies have requested cooperation with Korean listed companies on reconstruction projects through UUCI.” He added, “The outstanding technological prowess of Korean companies and the infrastructure of large local companies must be combined to receive additional points in bidding and financial support for large-scale reconstruction projects.”
He added, “We plan to provide maximum support so that reconstruction consortiums and joint investments between Korean listed companies and large local companies can be carried out smoothly.”
