Cloud native specialist Acornsoft announced on the 24th that it had won a consulting contract for JT Chinae Savings Bank’s MSA (Microservices Architecture) conversion. This project will run from March to June 30, and its main goal is to convert JT Chinae Savings Bank’s existing monolithic structure ‘retail system’ to MSA.
JT Savings Bank's retail system is built on a single architecture based on existing JAVA, which results in high interdependence. Therefore, if a failure occurs in a specific function, it can affect the entire service, and there were limitations in system scalability and application of the latest technology. Accordingly, JT Savings Bank plans to gradually convert its main service areas, such as ▲debt management ▲consultation management ▲loan application/review ▲customer management, into microservices and secure stability and scalability.
This MSA conversion project requires detailed architecture design so that existing and new systems can be integrated and operated. In addition, it will be carried out in a manner that complies with the guidelines of financial authorities and electronic financial supervision regulations. To this end, Aconsoft, which has specialized MSA capabilities, will provide technical and management consulting.
Through the MSA transition, JT Dear Savings Bank is expected to be able to operate services more flexibly and overcome the limitations of the existing structure that affects the entire system in the event of a failure. In addition, it is expected to be an opportunity to accelerate the digital innovation of the financial sector as it will facilitate the introduction of the latest technology. Customers using JT Dear Savings Bank are expected to receive more stable and convenient financial services.
Acornsoft Director Koh Hong-ryeol said, “We will successfully complete JT Savings Bank’s MSA conversion project and contribute to leading the digital innovation of the financial sector,” and “We plan to maximize service quality and scalability through a gradual and stable conversion.”
