MDS Intelligence , an affiliate of MDS Tech, an AI embedded solution specialist, announced on the 25th that it signed a business agreement with the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) Next-Generation Radio Measurement Technology Research Center for joint research on core technologies for integrated communications and sensing (ISAC) in preparation for the 6G era.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to strengthen the convergence research of 6G communication and sensing technology and establish a cooperative system with the goal of taking the lead in the next-generation wireless communication field. ISAC technology is expected to play an important role in building an efficient and intelligent communication environment in the future 6G network by integrating communication and sensing functions into one system.
MDS Intelligence and GIST Next Generation Radio Measurement Technology Research Center will secure technological superiority in related fields through joint research including algorithm and system optimization research, simulation and verification experiments for ISAC technology development. In addition, based on this, they plan to expand cooperation with industry and research institutes to enhance global technological competitiveness.
