Jeil Electric , a domestic smart distribution company, announced on the 25th that it was selected as a company to receive support from the '2025 Jump-Up Program' promoted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) and the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency.
The 'Jump-Up Program' is a program that supports promising companies' entry into new businesses and new markets to help them grow into mid-sized companies. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups selected 100 companies with high growth potential by evaluating their technology and business feasibility. Jeil Electric was selected and will receive benefits such as a commercialization open voucher worth 750 million won over the next three years, business strategy consulting, networking programs for global expansion, and R&D-related policy support.
Based on this program selection, Jeil Electric plans to fully develop and service a disease prediction device system based on sleep analysis that can be installed in senior housing. This system will collect data on sleepers’ heart rate and breathing in real time in a non-contact manner through a built-in biosignal radar sensor and AI smart switch installed on the building ceiling, and analyze this with AI to provide a function to detect disease risks in advance.
Jeil Electric has been continuously strengthening its technological capabilities by targeting the AI smart care sector as a future growth business, and based on this, it plans to advance sensor and AI technologies and segment its business areas to expand into the domestic and international silver care market.
