Domestic observability specialist Wattab Labs (CEO Dong-in Lee) announced that it will participate in the '2025 Software Market Fair' to be held at the Sejong Government Convention Center on the 27th.
The '2025 SW Market Fair', held for the third time this year, is an event hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and organized by the Korea Commercial Software Association. It is a place to introduce excellent software products and new technologies with the aim of strengthening public and private SW industry networking and revitalizing the domestic SW industry. Watap Labs will showcase a diverse product lineup of 'Watap', an observability solution for the public market, through event presentations and booth exhibitions on the day.
Kim Sung-jo, CTO of Wattab Labs, will present on the topic of ‘Wattab Fault Diagnosis Methodology Proposal through Case Study of Large-Scale Monitoring Introduction in Public Institutions’. He will present insights on integrated monitoring and fault diagnosis across all service sections through Wattab’s observability full-stack platform, from on-premise to cloud-native microservice architecture (MSA).
Wattab Labs was the first in Korea to introduce an observability service that analyzes the overall IT operating environment as a SaaS, and currently has a full-stack platform for end-to-end monitoring of servers, applications, databases, Kubernetes, and logs. It implements true ‘real-time observability’ that supports the ability to grasp the performance and failures of the entire IT operating environment at a glance in real time on a single platform.
The representative solution, Watap, has the following strengths: ▲cost efficiency through self-developed database provision ▲high compatibility between on-premise and SaaS ▲real-time analysis service that can be viewed at a glance. In particular, it provides monitoring services in various ways such as public SaaS, private SaaS, and on-premise, so that IT operation environments of public institutions, which are mostly on-premise or hybrid systems, can be efficiently operated and managed through Watap.
Meanwhile, this SW Market Fair is a venue for sharing excellent SW construction cases in the private sector, and was created to foster and activate a national SW industry ecosystem through mutual cooperation between the private sector and the government. Various SW officials from central administrative agencies, public institutions, local governments, and industries will participate, and various presentations on generative AI will be held under the theme of 'Generative AI in the public sector, a new journey of innovation.' About 40 major domestic solution companies will participate and introduce various products and services such as commercial SW, cloud, SaaS, AI, and metaverse.
“The IT operating environment, which has become more complex due to the advancement of generative AI and the shift to a cloud-native environment, requires a new approach to quickly resolve problems that arise in various forms beyond the existing monitoring method,” said Lee Dong-in, CEO of Wattab Labs. “At this event, Wattab Labs will share observability methodologies required in the era of digital transformation and successful cases of introduction in the public sector, and strive to provide solutions that support successful digital transformation and stable IT operation in the public sector.”
