KOICA Innoport, IBS Incubation Program Participating Companies Recruitment

The IBS Incubating program, one of KOICA INNOPORT's representative programs, is recruiting participating companies. The recruitment period is from the 14th to the 28th, and is targeted at small and medium-sized enterprises that seek to solve social problems in developing countries while creating business opportunities.

KOICA Innoport is KOICA’s startup and SME support platform that discovers innovative business models in the development cooperation sector and supports sustainable global expansion.

The IBS incubation program focuses on helping small and medium-sized enterprises create tangible results by providing basic training and workshops, as well as networking opportunities with experts with extensive KOICA project experience and senior companies, to help them establish development cooperation business models and strategies for overseas expansion.

The purpose of the IBS incubation program is to provide training so that participating companies can ultimately apply for and be selected for the KOICA Inclusive Business Solution (IBS) program, and the recruitment of participating companies for the IBS program is scheduled to begin today, May 7 (Wednesday). The recruitment areas are 12 areas including education, health, rural development and energy, and science and technology innovation, and detailed recruitment information can be checked on the KOICA Innoport website.

This year, the incubation program will provide participating companies with a boot camp to understand development cooperation business and the IBS program, 1:1 customized business model consulting and overseas expansion strategy consulting, and networking opportunities with KOICA trainees and IBS business promotion experience. Lastly, benefits such as local investigation support funds totaling 6 million won will be provided to three excellent companies through the final evaluation.

To apply, prepare the application form (HWP), presentation video, and other submission documents during the recruitment period and submit them through a separate application link. For more detailed information, please contact the official email address.

KOICA and Innoport officials said, “This program will be a great opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises to establish successful entry strategies into the development cooperation field and strengthen their business execution capabilities,” and added, “We look forward to the participation of many interested companies.”

This program is jointly operated by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), The Bridge, The Promise, and MYSC, and we look forward to receiving support from many companies interested in development cooperation business.
