Eden TNS, Gwangmyeong Smart City Construction Project Cooperative and Partnership Agreement

AI automation-based smart city data hub technology company Eden TNS (CEO Kim Yeon-gi) and Gwangmyeong Smart City Construction Business Cooperative (Gwangmyeong Scoop, Chairman Lee Sang-seon) signed a partnership agreement on the 21st and will proceed with cooperative projects in the smart city and smart construction fields.

EdenTNS is an AI company that has established a unique position in the field of intelligent business automation solutions that combine generative AI technology. It also ranked first in the Korean Language Model Evaluation (Open Ko-LLM Leaderboard Performance Evaluation) conducted by the Korea Intelligence Information Agency (NIA) in 2024.

EdenTNS is commercializing AI models by combining AI technology with RPA (Robot Process Automation). In particular, it is developing data hubs, a core element of smart cities, based on AI automation and participating in smart city projects of the government and local governments.

Smart City Data Hub is a city operation platform for systematically managing and utilizing the city's complex and diverse large-scale data. It processes, stores, and integrates various collected city data, analyzes and predicts them, and provides smart city operation services.

The data hub of EdenTNS collects city data with the work automation solution, Worktro Automation, and provides smart city services. Unlike existing big data collection methods, data without API is also collected and updated through AI automation. Various data collection and analysis are possible without environmental restrictions. It is possible to establish a data collection system for data-based decision-making and administrative support, and maximize convenience and administrative efficiency.

Gwangmyeong Smart City Construction Business Cooperative (Gwangmyeong SCOOP) is a small business cooperative comprised of small and medium-sized enterprises in Gwangmyeong City. It is a business cooperative in which companies from various industries gather for the purpose of smart city and smart carbon-neutral construction. At the cooperative level, it carries out industry-academic cooperation projects with three specialized research institutes, including Hanyang University’s Carbon Neutral Smart Construction Center, and also promotes partnership cooperation projects with excellent technology companies outside Gwangmyeong City. The agreement with Eden TNS is part of this.

Gwangmyeong City was selected for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s Small Smart City Project in June of last year, and is scheduled to launch the project this year. In addition, large-scale construction projects such as reconstruction and redevelopment, Gwangmyeong-Siheung Techno Valley, and Gwangmyeong-Siheung 3rd New City will continue for the next 15 years or more. In particular, as a local government that is most proactive in promoting carbon neutrality policies, it is evaluated as the optimal location for smart cities and smart construction projects.

Kim Yeon-gi, CEO of Eden TNS, said, “Through this partnership agreement, Eden TNS will also contribute to Gwangmyeong City’s smart city and smart carbon-neutral construction projects,” and added, “We would like to actively participate in the industry-academia cooperation with Gwangmyeong Scoop and Hanyang University as an affiliate to create a new model.” Lee Sang-seon, CEO of Gwangmyeong Scoop, said, “Since AI technology is a key technology in smart cities, smart construction, and carbon neutrality, we hope to accelerate Gwangmyeong City’s smart cityization through cooperation with Eden TNS, an AI company.”
