Dassault Systèmes Korea and IBCIT Sign Business Agreement

Dassault Systèmes Korea and IBCT, a technology company specializing in decentralized ID (DID) and DID-based data platforms, announced an innovative collaboration to respond to global ESG regulations. Through this strategic business agreement (MOU), the two companies plan to provide data-based solutions that help companies comply with ESG regulations and effectively analyze and manage carbon emissions. As carbon neutrality and sustainability-related regulations have been strengthened in the global market, companies are being required to manage more precise data and operate transparent supply chains. Accordingly, Dassault Systèmes and IBCT present innovative solutions that meet the needs of the market.

Dassault Systèmes has been using its 3DEXPERIENCE platform and virtual twin technology to help companies digitize the entire process from product design to production and distribution. IBCT provides solutions that strengthen the integrity and traceability of data in the supply chain through DID-based data space technology and the Digital Product Passport (DPP) SaaS service. Through this agreement, the two companies plan to cooperate in various areas, such as strengthening supply chain traceability based on the Digital Product Passport (DPP), optimizing ESG data using virtual twin technology, managing data integrity based on blockchain, and developing digital solutions to achieve carbon neutrality and sustainability.

As global ESG regulations are strengthened, many companies are establishing sustainability strategies and looking for practical tools for doing so. The collaboration between Dassault Systèmes and IBCT will provide companies with specific technical support for responding to ESG regulations and help build a sustainable manufacturing environment. “Through this collaboration, we will combine Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform and IBCT’s data space technology to help companies more effectively comply with ESG regulations and build a sustainable manufacturing environment,” said Woon-Sung Jeong, CEO of Dassault Systèmes Korea. He also emphasized, “A data-driven approach will be key to responding to ESG regulations.”

“IBCT’s data space and DPP platform, combined with Dassault Systèmes’ virtual twin technology, will provide a powerful solution to companies that need to respond to global ESG regulations,” said Lee Jeong-ryun, CEO of IBCT. “Through this collaboration, we will help not only large corporations but also small and medium-sized companies to effectively respond to ESG trends.”

Through this MOU, Dassault Systèmes and IBCT will lead data-based sustainability innovation and actively support domestic companies to become competitive in the global market. As ESG response strategies utilizing digital technology become increasingly important, the collaboration between the two companies is expected to become an important cornerstone for new business models and sustainable growth.
