Blockchain technology company Social Infratech and AI healthcare company Merryhand signed a business agreement (MOU) on March 21 to secure the integrity and reliability of AI medical data.
Under this agreement, the two companies will work together to ensure the integrity of the entire life cycle (creation-storage-use) of medical data and to enhance the reliability of smart rehabilitation treatment systems. They also plan to work to expand the scope of application of blockchain technology in the healthcare industry.
Merryhand is a company that has developed hand rehabilitation treatment devices and AI-based medical systems and has provided medical solutions to university hospitals and K-Health businesses. Merryhand plans to jointly develop a blockchain-based medical data full-cycle management system in cooperation with Social Infratech to manage medical data generated from its various medical devices.
Through this agreement, Social Infratech has laid an important foundation for introducing blockchain technology to the AI healthcare industry. Reliable data is essential for AI medical systems to make accurate judgments, and thus data integrity and security are emerging as key factors.
Kim Jong-hyun, CEO of Social Infratech, said, “Data reliability is a key factor in the AI healthcare field, and blockchain technology can play an important role in ensuring this.” He added, “Through this collaboration, we will be able to demonstrate the practical value of Social Infratech’s blockchain technology in the healthcare industry and create opportunities for it to be applied in more diverse fields in the future.”
