
Grep , which operates Programmers, a platform for training, evaluating, and recruiting software developers, announced that it will hold an offline special lecture titled 'DevCourse Career TALK' with Dankook University on March 26th at 2 PM.
This event is a special lecture for college students preparing for employment in the IT field, and is a customized extension model of the 'DevCourse' career support program. It focuses more on providing practical help by focusing on strengthening the practical capabilities and employment competitiveness of college students than existing programs.
The event will be held in room 206 of the Dankook University Education Building with 200 participants, and any Dankook University student can participate by applying in advance. Participants can learn about the practical skills required in the IT field, the latest technology trends, and job preparation processes from current developers.
This special lecture consists of two sessions, web development and data engineering, and experts in each field will give lectures. In the first part, Yongwook Kim, a web developer at Company N, will introduce 'The Role of Web Developers and the Latest Web Development Trends' and share practical projects and portfolio preparation strategies. In the second part that follows, Boram Han, co-founder of MAETEL, a B2B marketing solutions company, will explain 'The Role of Data Engineers and the Latest Technology Trends' and provide a guide to the data engineering process and portfolio creation. In the last third part, Seonhee Lee, the DevCourse Education Development Support Team Manager at Programmers, will introduce the 'Programmers DevCourse' program and provide guidance on how to participate in the education course using the government-supported 'Tomorrow's Learning Card'.
This event also provides practical benefits to participants. It provides a real-time Q&A opportunity with current developers, and Programmers Limited goods are also provided through a raffle. In particular, Dankook University students are expected to further expand their employment opportunities by being exempted from the Programmers Dev Course curriculum document screening.
