Jinam presents a new paradigm for the wellness industry in an aging society.

Lifestyle and wellness specialist Jinam (CEO Lee Jun-ho) announced on the 20th that it will begin operating the franchise business of ‘Goyo Wellness,’ a personalized wellness center, in earnest starting in April. The strategy is to expand stores centered around the metropolitan area, increase contact points with customers, and secure new and loyal customers.

Goyo Wellness aims to sign a total of 30 franchise contracts by the end of this year, including 20 general franchises and 10 community facilities and residences. Through this, it plans to provide services to a variety of customer groups and promote the growth of the wellness industry.

To this end, Jinam has been piloting direct stores in special locations such as shopping malls, apartment community centers, and areas with high concentrations of apartments and offices. Based on more than a year of pilot experience targeting various customer groups in different commercial areas, it has laid the foundation for Goyo Wellness to leap forward in its franchise business.

The Goyo Wellness franchise business is operated in various ways, including direct franchises where the store owner directly operates the store, consignment franchises where the head office operates the store on behalf of the franchise owner, and shop-in-shops where the Goyo Wellness program is applied to Pilates shops or gyms.

The new franchise store is 40 pyeong in standard size, and the size can be changed depending on the type of low-intensity healing exercise. Types of low-intensity healing exercise include yoga, pilates, and rehabilitation PT. In addition, it can be operated in the basement or on the second floor or higher, not just on the first floor, so there is no burden on location, which reduces the burden of initial investment.

The Goyo Wellness franchise business is optimized for franchisees who are interested in the wellness industry and self-care and have strengths in one-on-one customer care. Jinam plans to share know-how based on training talent through a thorough education curriculum and operating direct stores. It also established a plan for continuous support for franchisees’ successful operation, such as marketing strategies to increase sales.

There are also various benefits for early-stage store owners. For the first 10 branches, discounts on franchise fees and training fees are provided, and opportunities to preemptively secure commercial areas are given. Target commercial areas for franchisees are complex commercial areas near apartment complexes and offices, such as Pangyo, Gwanggyo, Gangnam, Cheongdam, Wirye, Misa, Dongtan, Songdo, Geomdan, Byeollae, and Cheongnyangni, which are new city commercial areas with many women in their 30s and 40s.

CEO Lee Jun-ho of Goyo Wellness said, “Through this Goyo Wellness franchise business, we plan to lead new trends in the wellness industry and strengthen our market competitiveness by providing customized services to customers.” He added, “Goyo Wellness will continue to develop wellness programs and services that prioritize the health and happiness of customers, as well as build partnerships that grow together with franchisees.”

Meanwhile, Goyo Wellness, which entered the market in September 2023, has established branches in Banpo, Eunpyeong, and Dongbu Ichon areas of Seoul, where middle-aged people with economic power and above mainly reside, and has introduced various customized programs that take into account individual health indicators. In particular, Goyo Wellness Dongbu Ichon branch, which reopened after renovation in December of last year, has secured numerous loyal customers by increasing customer satisfaction through meticulous service improvements that prioritize the health and wellness of customers.
