SnapTag announced that it introduced ‘LAB Guard,’ a security solution based on invisible watermarks, at the eGISEC 2025, an e-Government Information Security Solution Fair held at KINTEX from March 19th to 21st.
LabGuard is a solution that uses invisible watermarks to track information inserted into PCs, apps, web screens, and files, helping to identify and track the path of leaked information. At this exhibition, SnapTag highlighted the special features of LabGuard, which have been further enhanced compared to last year.
LabGuard can create and detect watermarks without a server, so it can be used in environments without communication. It boasts a higher detection rate than existing solutions, and can detect screens or printouts to which watermarks have been applied even if they have been altered by shooting, compressing, or editing. In addition, all products are provided in a modular format, so they can be easily integrated into existing systems, increasing user convenience.
Another advantage of LabGuard is that it can apply invisible watermarks to the entire screen, which is not noticeable to the user, and can reduce eye fatigue and improve work efficiency. It is possible to trace the leaked path with only a part of the leaked image, and it also provides flexibility to adjust the security strength by applying invisible and visible watermarks at the same time.
A SnapTag official said, “As invisible watermarking technology is becoming increasingly important in the information security field, we have received a lot of interest and response from the field due to our unrivaled technological prowess,” and “We will continue to build an even safer security environment as a leader in the invisible watermarking market.”
