Finger (CEO In-joo Ahn), a SaaS (Service as a Software) platform specialist group, announced on the 20th that it has signed a 'strategic partnership for joint response to the climate crisis' with the SDX Foundation (Chairman Ha-jin Jeon), which leads sustainable development and digital transformation.
Through this partnership, the two companies plan to develop innovative solutions that combine digital financial technology and ESG (environment, society, and governance) strategies, and promote various joint projects to reduce greenhouse gases and promote green finance.
Specifically, the two companies agreed to cooperate in ▲developing solutions related to greenhouse gas reduction and climate action ▲activating ESG finance and green finance ▲strengthening industrial cooperation and networks. In particular, the two companies plan to build a carbon emissions tracking and management system utilizing a digital finance platform and explore ways to provide various incentives so that users can reduce their carbon footprint more easily. In addition, they plan to establish a system to increase the growth potential of the climate tech industry and certify related companies through reliable evaluations.
In particular, we will also promote the development of financial products that select and support companies that create eco-friendly and social value by utilizing financial technology. We plan to hold joint research and seminars to spread ESG management and introduce various measures linked to financial services so that individuals can participate in carbon reduction activities. In addition, we plan to expand cooperation with domestic and international related organizations and industrial partners to maximize the synergy between digital finance and ESG, and build a consulting network to support international greenhouse gas reduction projects.
“Responding to the climate crisis through digital innovation is no longer an option but an essential task,” said Jeon Ha-jin, Chairman of the SDX Foundation. “Through this partnership, we will do our best to develop sustainable financial and environmental solutions with Finger and contribute to reducing greenhouse gases and activating green finance.”
“This strategic partnership will be an important opportunity to demonstrate what kind of innovation fintech can create in the ESG field,” said An In-ju, CEO of Finger. “Through our collaboration with the SDX Foundation, we plan to continue our efforts to ensure that financial technology can make a real contribution to responding to the climate crisis.”
