Senior care specialist Caring (CEO Taeseong Kim) announced on the 20th that Caring Day Care Center Busan Suyeong Branch was selected as the best institution in the '2024 Regular Evaluation of Long-Term Care Service Providers' hosted by the National Health Insurance Corporation .
The National Health Insurance Corporation has established an evaluation committee to improve the quality of long-term care services and ensure the people's right to choose, and conducts regular evaluations every three years. The evaluation items are ▲organization operation ▲environment and safety ▲guarantee of beneficiary rights ▲benefit provision process ▲benefit provision results, and are graded from A to E in five categories.
In this regular evaluation, only 1,971 institutions, which is the top 21.8% of 9,035 home-based long-term care facilities nationwide, received the highest (A) grade, and Caring Day Care Center Busan Suyeong Branch received high evaluations in three categories: ▲Home Care ▲Day and Night Care ▲Home Bathing, and received the highest grade.
Opened in 2022, the Busan Suyeong branch of the Caring Day Care Center is a large-scale day care center with an area of 1,018㎡ (approximately 300 pyeong) that can accommodate over 80 people, and has 25 care experts in each field. It provides customized care services centered on recipients, including ▲home nursing ▲home bathing ▲home nursing ▲dementia-specific room operation, including day care, and has cared for over 500 elderly people so far.
We also operate customized programs that take into account the cognitive, emotional, and physical abilities of seniors. Occupational therapists use digital cognitive therapy tools to conduct occupational therapy, and through exercise programs to maintain physical functions and improve health, we help seniors enjoy a healthier and more active old age.
Kim Dae-wang, head of Caring Yeongnam Branch, said, “Busan Suyeong Branch was the first of Caring’s daycare centers to be evaluated and was selected as the best institution, which is very meaningful in that it has been recognized for its senior care expertise and operational capabilities.” He added, “We will continue to create model cases as a leading domestic nursing company to ensure that government funds are used appropriately.”
Meanwhile, Caring has developed an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that automates paperwork and data management that nursing caregivers used to handle manually, thereby improving work efficiency. Based on this, Caring direct stores nationwide are systematically managed and supervised from the center so that they can operate in compliance with the National Health Insurance Corporation’s regular evaluation standards and related laws.
