Techville Education Operation 'Cheddars' Collaborates with Goodnotes

Techville Education (CEO Lee Hyeong-se) announced on the 19th that its edutech marketplace 'Cheddars' has launched 'Goodnotes Classroom' tailored to public education in collaboration with global digital note-taking solution Goodnotes.

GoodNotes is a world-famous AI-based digital note application with 24 million monthly active users (MAU). In February of this year, it launched 'GoodNotes Classroom', which enables real-time communication and assignment management between teachers and students, and is actively used in the public education market.

This collaboration between the two companies has enabled GoodNotes to be used on all Divot devices (including iPad, Android, and Chromebook) in elementary, middle, and high schools in Korea. Through this platform, teachers can provide real-time feedback on students’ work and efficiently evaluate them using AI-based automatic grading functions.

Jeong Ji-hye, head of the Cheddars Business Division, said, “Through the collaboration with GoodNotes, Divot has been introduced to domestic schools, and all of GoodNotes’ functions and content can now be used on all Divot models, including the Galaxy Tab and Chromebook,” adding, “More students and teachers will be able to experience an innovative learning environment utilizing digital note-taking.”

Domestic teachers and students can now more easily introduce and utilize edutech solutions. In particular, the efficiency and immersion of learning are expected to improve through various functions of GoodNotes such as ▲EBS problem solving ▲AI-based automatic grading ▲provision of real-time feedback ▲multimedia class support. Students can freely write on digital paper, and the convenience of learning is increased by having AI organize students’ answers.

As an integrated platform that supports the introduction of edutech by domestic teachers, Cheddar plans to provide a wide range of services with the launch of 'GoodNote Classroom'. In addition, with the new semester approaching, it plans to introduce overseas edutech solutions such as Kami, Quizizz, and Notion to create a digital learning environment for public education.

Lee Chang-hoon, head of the educommerce division at Techville Education, said, “Cheddars will play a more important role in the domestic education market as it expands its collaboration with global edtech companies.” He added, “We will not spare our active support, such as holding a webinar for teachers nationwide on April 3, so that innovative learning tools such as GoodNotes can be actively utilized in schools.”

Meanwhile, Cheddar is currently holding a 20% discount and purchase review event for GoodNotes Classroom. Detailed event information can be found on the Cheddar homepage .
