DeepL, selected as 'World's Most Innovative Company in 2025' by Fast Company

DeepL, a global language AI company, announced on the 19th that it had been selected as one of the 'World's Most Innovative Companies of 2025' by the American economic magazine Fast Company. This year, companies that have achieved significant results across the economy by transforming industries and cultures with innovative technologies were selected, and DeepL was recognized among them for its outstanding language AI technology.

Fast Company selected 609 organizations worldwide, and 50 of them were listed as the 'Most Innovative Companies'. DeepL has established itself as a language AI platform that serves more than 200,000 global enterprises and government agencies, including 50% of the Fortune 500. Key clients include SoftBank, Mazda, Harvard Business Publishing, Germany's Ifo Institute for Economic Research, and Panasonic Connect.

“DeepL’s language AI platform is revolutionizing how enterprises communicate, breaking down language barriers and enabling any enterprise to operate seamlessly across borders with AI,” said Jarek Kutylowski, Founder and CEO of DeepL. “Being recognized as one of the world’s most innovative companies for leadership in applied AI is a significant milestone that validates DeepL’s continued commitment to innovation and the proven economic return on investment (ROI) we deliver to our customers.”

DeepL is evaluated as a platform that solves language and communication issues, which are the biggest obstacles to business growth, as companies seek AI solutions that provide real effects as AI adoption spreads. DeepL’s platform provides advanced text and voice translation tools and writing solutions, and supports customized APIs that can solve communication issues that arise in internal operations and customer service of companies.

In particular, DeepL has the characteristic of using specialized AI models optimized for language, unlike general-purpose AI, to reduce the risk of hallucination and errors, and to provide more precise translations in various business environments. In the 2024 blind test results, DeepL's next-generation LLM (Large Language Model)-based translation proved to perform better than competitors.

This selection is another proof of DeepL’s rapid growth and innovation. Recently, DeepL launched ‘Clarify’, a next-generation LLM-based conversational function that resolves translation ambiguity and provides precise translation control. In addition, it introduced ‘DeepL Voice’, a real-time speech translation solution, and achieved various achievements such as attracting $300 million in new investment in recognition of its corporate value of $2 billion and establishing its first US technology hub in New York.
