Kilsa Global, selected as Seoul Startup Hub's 'Global Expansion Cooperation Partner' for 5 consecutive years

Singapore-based global growth platform Kilsa Global announced on the 19th that it has been selected as the Seoul Startup Hub’s global expansion cooperation partner for the fifth consecutive year.

Kilsa Global has been collaborating with Seoul Startup Hub since 2020, and will be selected as a global expansion partner in 2025 to fully operate a program for Seoul-based startups seeking to enter the Singapore market. Through this program, Kilsa Global and Seoul Startup Hub will select 10 startups located in Seoul to participate in ‘TechInnovation’, Singapore’s largest B2B technology fair to be held in October, and provide various benefits.

Tech Innovation is an event hosted by IPI (Innovation Partner for Impact), a technology commercialization intermediary agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore, and serves as a platform to promote collaboration between companies centered on B2B technology matching. It specializes in deep tech fields such as AI, healthcare, food tech, and climate tech, and this program is expected to provide business expansion opportunities to innovative technology companies hoping to enter the Southeast Asian market based on the strategic partnership between Kilsa Global and IPI.

Kilsa Global will provide participating startups with opportunities to participate in event booths, customized business meetups, and open innovation opportunities. It will analyze each company’s technology and market competitiveness to connect them with suitable global companies and investors, and provide ongoing support for building partnerships even after the event to help secure business expansion opportunities. Recruitment for participating startups will begin in June.

Namgung Seon, team leader of Seoul Startup Hub, said, “Kilsa Global has practical channels and networks for technology companies to operate in the Singapore market, making it a suitable partner for us,” and “Through this program, we will actively support Seoul startups to lay the foundation for them to grow into global unicorns.”

Park Jong-seok, Co-CEO of Kilsa Global, said, “The core of this program is not short-term matching results, but customized business matching and follow-up support based on local demand,” and added, “We will use Kilsa Global’s expertise to help Seoul startups maximize business opportunities in the Singapore and Southeast Asian markets.”
